Lately, work seems to have overtaken my life a little. It's always one deadline after another. I wanted to take leave but there's just no way I could do it. There's so much things to do in so little time.
Having said that, life is so much more bearable with unexpected finds and little time I squeezed out for some retail therapy and also dinner with the hub and cousin on a weekday night. No matter how busy we are, I always believe in taking time to take care of ourselves, to keep ourselves sane in our insanely busy world.
Found these old-school alphabet biscuits at a really old hawker centre one day. These biscuits go best with a hot cup of milo on a cold, rainy day. To find alphabets within the small pack to form words makes it even more fun.
My own curation of a cruise collection. Yes, it's stripes again, but I know I gotta buy this top the moment I tried it on. The material is very different from my other stripe shirts. And yes, I know, it's an excuse.
Also, a really chirpy blue bag from the latest Furla collection. It's a unique shade of blue and goes well with my mostly navy-blue wardrobe.
I really miss having a March holiday to chill and relax. Have a restful weekend!
