It's the time of the year where we get together as a family to do the big toss. Love the crispy golden pillows on top of the yu sheng. 

Here's wishing all good health, great wealth and prosperity, good academic results and all the luck you can have in this coming year of the snake.

In the month of January, I attended a funeral and visited a close relative in the hospital. I can't help but feel that we should never take our parents and loved ones for granted. Giving them a little time and attention can go a long way. They may not verbalise it but I am sure they appreciate it.

It's another 2 days to the long CNY weekend. Can't wait for the holiday to arrive. Dead beat from all the work and deadlines to meet...
