I watched this hilarous comedy on Air France on the way back to Singapore. It teaches one to continue doing what you strongly believe in even if the whole world thinks nothing of your talent. Youn was a young talented chef who is passionate about bringing out the best in food, not just in terms of flavour but in plating as well. However, his effort was not appreciated by any of his employers who were merely interested in profit making and churning dishes quick and fast, never mind the taste nor appearance. He was later pressured to get a permanent job when his partner got pregnant. Well, he went on to become a painter for a while before his hands got 'itchy' again and he sneaked back to the kitchen to create more interesting dishes for the elderly at a Home. Some people do not like french film for their lack of a proper conclusion. If you are one these people, fret not. This is one movie that ends well and everybody lived happily ever after. Dreams can become reality if we have enough belief in ourselves.
A good show to catch to brighten up your slow and dreary week. Have a good week ahead!
