School of Magic

Before the National Day long weekend is officially over, I am determined to catch the Harry Potter exhibition over at the Art Science Museum. Whenever I watched the HP films, I never really bothered examining the props used in the show. To me, a wand is a wand. I never did expect the props department to come up with different wand designs for each witch and wizard. The picture below is the car used and seen in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets where Harry and Ron missed the Hogwarts Express and had to get to school in time using this flying car.

The organiser of the exhibition is strict about the use of camera in the exhibition but naughty me managed to snap a section of the exhibition.

The exhibition ended with the shop selling all sorts of paraphernalia and souvenirs. They are exhorbitantly priced and I only got this photo they took of us when we were about to enter the exhibition proper. But for those willing to part with their money, there are jellybeans of various flavours and chocolate rice frogs, things you would expect to see sold at Hogsmeade.

It's back to school again tomorrow and unfortunately it will be a boring, busy and uneventful 3 weeks to the hols. Witches and wizards, I need help!!!
