Weekend Cruise

I decided to make use of the long Labour Day weekend for a short getaway. And this time, I decided on a cruise. For one, we do not have to walk around too much and end up more tired than we already are. Though there are many activities planned for us, we could pick and choose those we like and are interested in. This is a 3 day 2 night cruise to Malacca but in the end we decided to stay onboard the whole time and did not go to shore.

Time flies actually. On the 2nd day after lunch, we watched a movie (Toy Story 3), learn to dance jive, played bingo, did some shopping, went to the casino, took a drink, watched the farewell performance and by the time we finished our dinner, it was nearly 10pm! Learnt many new things on this trip. At least now I know the basic steps to jive and may even be able to bluff my way through with more practice and two, I now know how to play bingo and think it's a really good game to entertain guests. Keeps one real alert as well.

The performances onboard were world-class. It was not some cheapskate production that other cruise companies showcase. The cast was professional and everything onboard was done in a classy manner. Definitely no hardselling of photos and etc.

Overall, it was quite a relaxing and enjoyable trip. Looking forward to the next big trip in about 4 weeks' time.
