Alice in Wonderland

Watched a fantastic play put up by Acsian Theatre on Alice in Wonderland. The casting was very well done; it suits the actors and actresses to a tee, especially the actress who played Alice. Even though they were only 17/ 18 years old, they seemed so confident in their acting and not at all amateurish. The show combines Lewis Carroll's 'Alice in Wonderland' and 'Through the Looking Glass' and was retold through a combination of graceful dance moves and great music. In order to fully appreciate the performance, one must have knowledge of literary and language devices such as puns, aliterations and etc. Otherwise, it would just be pure entertainment of some strange and illogical story. My favourite character in the play happens to be a supporting role - that is the cat. "We are all mad here", says the cat... To me, though simple, this is a very philosophical and deep quote.
