Since care group was cancelled, we decided to try out one of the latest restaurant offerings in town. Let's Sweets is a Hokkaido based food company that has recently exported its brand of restaurants to Singapore. Back in the land of snowy crabs, they are known for their uber delicious cakes and desserts. There was lots of hype about this restaurant over the Internet, newspapers and even TV shows. Since Japanese cuisine has always been one of my favourites, I decided to give the buffet a try.

There was quite a long queue when we got to Bugis Junction but it's expected since it's the start of the weekend and the price is really affordable @ about $18++. However, the catch is that each diner is only limited to a 70 mins buffet. They even have a timer at the table and once the buzzer goes off, you have to leave. So we ended up constantly checking on the time.

The choice and variety of food is not great. For the savoury dishes, they mainly serve carbohydrates such as pizza, pasta, curry rice with some saba and the like. And each customer is only allowed to take one small piece of saba dish at any one time. The plates used were rather small in size and this limits the amount of food one is able to take. And for the dessert, you would have to go to this dessert counter and at any one time, you are only allowed to pick 5 items. When you finished, you are to queue up for it again. So overall, it's rather time consuming and troublesome, and coupled with the mediocre quality of food, the overall verdict I have for the restaurant is: It is not worth the time, effort and calories!
