The past month had been hectic. Before I knew it, we are already moving into the last week of May. I have got lots of photos/ cafes visited/ performances watched that I wanted to post but had no time to.
Today's post actually took place on the weekend of Mother's Day. My brother treated all of us to some really good dim sum at Peach Gardens @ OCC. After which, the hub and I decided to take the whole family to Pasarbella for some post dim sum coffee and dessert.
That was how we ended up getting some of these uber cute macarrons at Bonheur Patisserie. I visit Pasarbella pretty often and with the shop located right at the entrance of the place, I walked past it many times without giving it a second look. Blame it on myself. I only had eyes for Pierre Herme. But this little homegrown shop has shown us that they can be as good as the big boys out there as well!
When I saw these macarrons, I couldn't resist. Looks aside, the taste and texture of these macarrons were actually more than decent, especially the one with the yuzu flavour. With the 6 of us sharing, these uber sweet macarrons were more than enough for us to share!
These days, so many people are selling macarrons. I would say that Bonheur Patisserie is innovative enough to set themselves apart from the other competitors with their cute and create designs. These are sure to capture the hearts of many who are young and young at heart.
