Sands of Time

February, where have you been? Time is passing by too quickly. Too many things to do and too little time. After a hectic 5 days at work, it's time for some 'me time' again. This month, the Public Garden was held at the ever-so-quaint National Museum.

Some people say Singaporeans lack creativity. I beg to differ. Just look at the stores at the flea market. Many are original creations with a very unique Singaporean identity to it.

And of course, there were lots of vintage stuff available for the vintage junkies out there! However, I feel that many of these old stuff are overpriced. If you know the right people, you will get them at much reasonable prices. Nonetheless, they are still nice to look at.

My only loot was this hourglass necklace by "By Invite Only", a young, up-and-coming local brand. Sometimes, I can't help but feel that time is really slipping through my fingers. There are still so many things to do and enjoy in life.

The necklace looks simple but can add character to a plain black dress. You can play with the hourglass when you are bored too. I love looking at it when I am in a contemplative mood.

It's the day before the start of a hectic week again. Enjoy it to the fullest and have a great week ahead!
