The next few posts over the next few days will focus on my loot from my States trip. First off, we are gonna talk about some beautiful bags. I know most people will go to the US to buy their Coach and Kate Spades but not moi. I think they are too ubiquitous to be unique.
I didn't set out to buy any bags on this trip actually. But a trip to Soho one day saw me walking into a Mulberry store and voila, right before me was this bag from the latest Spring/Summer 2013 collection. As all fashionista out there would already know, the next 'in' colour would be white and all its hues. This Mulberry hobo is actually greyish white (you can't really see it in this lighting) and it's super user-friendly. This is one big criteria for me as I have come across too many beautiful bags that are so difficult to unbuckle. I don't drive and so I am very practical. The light colour makes the bag really versatile and it can go with most clothing and can take you from work to the weekend.
The second bag that I bought was from an American designer, Loeffler Randall. This bag here is the Rider bag in natural vachetta leather with chamois water snake inset. This bag may look small but it can accommodate a tablet, phone and has many pockets within. I got this from Saks fifth avenue and I must say the design of this bag is really unique. I have long wanted a satchel-looking bag and this fits the bill perfectly.
