Alexander McQueen's designs. I admit. I have never been a fan of the couture house before McQueen's death. I often find his designs too dark and pessimistic; not anywhere near my personality. However, his protege Sarah Burton seems to have given a new lease of life to the McQueen designs. Just look at Kate Middleton's wedding dress and you go 'wow'. A flip in one of the latest fashion mags took my breath away with more of Burton's work... I love the clean and simple lines and the theme that Burton undertook this year; of princesses and fairytales.
