Red and white, or blue?

Majulah! The Singapore Spirit: the theme for this year's National Day. So instead of just wearing red and white, I bought this specially designed shirt by an up and coming local designer to commemorate national day. The heart applique is hand sewn, thus every piece is unique. I think it's good that a number of Singapore designers have come together to create something like a capsule collection for national day. They are really creative and have got quite an interesting collection. Plus, the designs are affordable and very wearable, not something you see on the runway and wonder when you can wear it. It's just sad that not many appreciate the local talents as yet. Whatever it is, Joyeux Bonne Anniversaire, Singapour!
